Alan quite possibly holds the title of “Coolest Bass Player in the World.”  

He has been playing in bands since the 1957 with names as diverse as The Gravediggers Skiffle Group, Coventry Symphony Orchestra, The Ego Rock Band, Archway Free-form Jazz, support band for Victor Sylvester Jnr. and The Oggle Ceilidh Band. 

Now as a founder member of ROTF he’s back joyfully playing the music of his youth, and still learning!
